The most convenient airport is Mexico City International Airport (MEX)

Do I need a visa or any travel documents?

We recommend using Uber — it’s easy, affordable, and widely available throughout the city.

What will the weather be like in October?
Expect mild fall weather: daytime highs around 70–75°F (21–24°C) and cooler evenings around 50–55°F (10–13°C). Bring layers, especially for evenings.

Do I need to bring Pesos?
Most places accept credit cards, but it's a good idea to have some pesos for street vendors, tips, and small purchases. You can withdraw pesos at ATMs or exchange USD at the airport.

Can I drink the tap water?
Tap water is not safe to drink, but most restaurants use filtered water, so salads and vegetables are generally fine. Stick to bottled or filtered water for drinking.

CDMX sits at over 7,000 feet above sea level. Most people adjust quickly, but staying hydrated helps with the altitude.
